Why did the producer's of the Green Hornet Choose a Chrysler Imperial.?

Really why. That car was for old people 40 years ago and now they think they can make it into an action figure. The whole Chrysler Imperial aspect is making their movie look even more stupid. Why not choose a Plymouth Barracuda or Jaguar E-type or anything else more exciting? What do you think?
