Why does the feminist movement continue to grow?

Now I am all for equal rights as I have said in previous questions. However in western society women and men have equal rights now it seems, the pendulum (sounds funny) has turned from favoring males somewhat more to equal. However, it seems now that the pendulum is swinging to favor females more. So if western laws are beginning to favor women more, why does the feminist movement continue to grow if they have what they meant to have, equal rights.
