When I was in England and Wales, and it has been a few years now, I noticed a serious dearth of chocolate-peanut-er candies, or even just peanut-er candies. G-flavored candies and drinks were also in short supply. They used black currant where we would use g. The black currant soda was absolutely yummers! If your friend is particularly fond of g something, you might want to send that.
