How appropriate/inappropriate is Satoshi Kon's "Perfect Blue"?

I was thinking of screening "Perfect Blue" at my high school, but I have never seen the movie before and I am unfamiliar with its content. Basically, anything short of nudity and/or gratuitous violence is OK. I only ask because I am familiar with Kon's reputation as the "David Lynch of anime".
