I'm jogging down the road to go home at 1AM.. Cops asks me what I am doing?

So, I replied - whats its look like I'm doing? Then the cut through to go home was right there so I took a sharp left and ran up into the woods to go home... He thought I was evading and immeditately stop his car and start chasing.. Well, the path is small and bushes everywhere with a small stream that has a 4 foot drop. I know its there and jump the 5 feet right over it, but not the cop.. He got all " F'ed " up and fell down in it head first.. I heard of yelling and moaning, HELP... I later heard he go slightly impaled on an old shopping cart.. Newspaper asking person to step forward. ( me ) What for? I didn't do anything wrong. Curiousity " hurt " the cop, right? Please advise?
