How do i become friends with my ex, hu hates me?

me and my ex split up sum tym ago. to which i thought i wouldnt be happy without her. but tym and ppl around me have made me realise there is life after ex. itz been a while. since i last contacted her. and im happy. but i was wonder wether to say hi to her. last tym i did, which was awhile ago, she threw it back by saying she hates me and that she wants me out of her life and she would never contact me. also she was saying that she was the only person to make sumthing out of our relationship but it got her nowhere in life. so i thoguht ill leave her alone after that. well, just wondering, wether i shud make the first move to say hello, if not is there nething i could do, for her to know that im not a bad person, and would like it if i could be friends with her?
