Will my finches abandon their eggs if I move them to a bigger nest?

My finch had 5 eggs - they all hatched, but only one survived. My finch parents are very good parents. I'm wondering if the space was too small for the babies to survive. They all lived in a little basket nest on the side of their cage. Tracy has laid 5 more eggs...Should I leave them be or move them to a bigger nest? I'm afraid Tracy won't sit on her eggs if I move them to a new location.
